You know those blue bikes? Ever used one? What are they good for? That’s what the invite said. Intrigued I joined the Melburne en masse event. Part political statement part coffee morning the aim was to get as many people as possible on one of the Melbourne bike share bikes. Rather appropriately we congregated next to the walls of the Melbourne Club -one stuffy relic of the past juxtaposed against the power of the future. Shame we didn’t have a critical mass riding through the doors, women taking the lead of course. Would certainly make the old farts sit up and take notice. Next time eh.
